Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance and servicing.
- Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Maintenance, or a related field.
- Relevant manufacturer training or certifications in high-pressure compressors, breathing apparatus, or mechanical equipment will be an advantage.
- Experience servicing high-pressure compressors up to approximately 300–350 bar is preferred.
- Practical knowledge of pneumatic systems, pumps, motors, valves, and rotating equipment.
- Experience with breathing apparatus/SCBA servicing is an advantage.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems and perform repairs independently.
- Good understanding of mechanical tools, equipment, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to work safely in a workshop and field-service environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a practical, problem-solving approach.
Job Description:
- Perform servicing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of high-pressure compressors, preferably up to approximately 300–350 bar.
- Carry out repair and maintenance of pneumatic machines and equipment.
- Inspect, service, repair, and maintain valves, pumps, and motors.
- Perform maintenance and servicing of rotating equipment.
- Carry out inspection, servicing, maintenance, and repair of breathing apparatus and related equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and perform corrective maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and reliably.
- Conduct equipment inspections and identify worn, damaged, or defective components requiring replacement or repair.
- Follow established safety procedures, maintenance standards, and manufacturer recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of servicing, repairs, inspections, and replaced components.
- Support the workshop and field-service team as required.
