Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 4–5 years of relevant hands-on experience with rotating equipment, particularly:
- High-pressure breathing air compressors
- Breathing air compressors
- Reciprocating compressors
- Industrial compressors
- SCBA filling systems
- Firefighting equipment
- Experience servicing and maintaining high-pressure compressors is preferred.
- Strong practical knowledge of breathing air and reciprocating compressor systems.
- Experience in fire stations, oil & gas facilities, industrial plants, or emergency-response organizations is an advantage.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for field service, maintenance, and emergency support.
Job Description:
- Perform inspection, servicing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of high-pressure breathing air compressors, industrial compressors, SCBA filling systems, and firefighting equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control-system faults.
- Carry out repairs, component replacement, testing, and commissioning as required.
- Service and maintain high-pressure reciprocating and breathing air compressors.
- Perform maintenance and servicing of equipment operating at pressures of up to approximately 300–350 bar.
- Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential mechanical or operational issues.
- Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
- Ensure all maintenance and repair activities are carried out in accordance with applicable safety procedures, manufacturer recommendations, and technical standards.
- Provide technical support to customers at fire stations, oil & gas facilities, industrial plants, and other emergency-response sites.
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure timely completion of service and maintenance activities.
