ELECTRICIAN (E & I TECHNICIAN - PAPER MILL)
We are looking for experienced Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation Technicians to join our tissue paper mill. You will be responsible for keeping the production line running by maintaining motors, sensors, control panels, and computer-controlled systems. You will report to the E&I Supervisor and work alongside a team of maintenance professionals.
Motors & Drives: Maintain low-voltage motors. Diagnose and fix faults on Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and soft starters. Adjust drive parameters as needed.
Switchgear & Panels: Safely turn off/on low-voltage distribution panels and motor control centers (MCCs). Maintain circuit breakers, contactors, and overload relays. Rack-in and rack-out MCC buckets independently.
Instrumentation: Test, calibrate, and replace field instruments such as pressure transmitters, thermocouples, proximity sensors, limit switches, solenoid valves, and control valves. Perform 4–20 mA and HART loop checks.
Automation (PLC/SCADA)Use HMI screens to monitor machine status, check alarms, and verify I/O signals. Read P&IDs and I/O lists for troubleshooting. (Siemens PLC/SCADA experience is a plus.)
Wiring & Cables: Trace electrical faults using megger, multimeter, and continuity testers. Perform cable termination, glanding, panel wiring, and conduit installation.
Preventive Maintenance: Follow scheduled PM tasks including motor checks, thermal scanning, insulation resistance testing, and updating work orders/shift logs.
Test Equipment: Proficient use of multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers (meggers), and thermal cameras.
