ELECTRICIAN (E&I Technician – Paper Mill)
Experienced Electricians to work in a modern tissue paper manufacturing facility.
Job Responsibilities:
? Maintain low-voltage motors, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and soft starters.
? Troubleshoot and maintain motor control centers (MCCs), switchgear, circuit breakers, and control panels.
? Test, calibrate, and replace instrumentation including sensors, transmitters, control valves, and switches.
? Monitor and troubleshoot PLC/SCADA systems through HMI interfaces.
? Perform electrical wiring, cable termination, panel wiring, conduit installation, and electrical fault tracing.
? Carry out preventive maintenance, insulation testing, thermal scanning, and equipment inspections.
? Use electrical test equipment such as multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers (megger), and thermal cameras.
? Follow electrical safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and safe switching practices.
Qualifications:
? Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
? Minimum 5–8 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in paper mills, steel plants, cement factories, petrochemical plants, power stations, or similar heavy industries.
? Experience in a pulp and paper or tissue mill is an advantage but not required.
? Knowledge of LV motors, VFDs, MCCs, switchgear, instrumentation, PLC/SCADA systems (Siemens is an advantage), and electrical troubleshooting.
? Able to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical manuals.
? Strong troubleshooting skills with a safety-first mindset.
