Secondary Social Studies Teacher
A Secondary Social Studies Teacher is responsible for teaching Social Studies subjects to junior or senior high school students in accordance with the Philippine K–12 curriculum and the standards of Qatar’s Ministry of Education and Higher Education. The teacher develops students’ understanding of history, geography, culture, economics, civics, and global issues while promoting critical thinking, responsible citizenship, and cultural awareness in a learner-centered and multicultural environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education major in Social Studies, History, Geography, Political Science, or related field
- Valid PRC Professional Teacher License
- Preferably with teaching experience in secondary education
- Strong communication, research, and classroom management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural educational environment
- Full-fledged Master’s Degree holder in Education
- At least two (2) years of experience as a classroom teacher
- 45 years old and below
- With less than 40 hours of absences
