QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Acccounting, plus 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in construction or related industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software like MYOB, Quickbooks, SAP, must have advance Excel skills.
- Strong problem solving and attention to details in financial analysis.
- Clear and professional interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to motivate and develop a team in a deadline driven environment.
- Effective prioritization of multiple task and deadlines.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1.Team Supervision: Manage and mentor the AP Accountant, AR Accountant, and Payroll
Specialist to ensure high performance and adherence to deadlines.
2. Process Oversight: Monitor the accuracy and efficiency of invoice processing, payment runs,
collections, and payroll activities.
3. Financial Controls: Implement and maintain accounting policies and internal controls to
safeguard company assets.
4. Month-End Close: Ensure timely completion of month-end tasks, including reconciliations and
accruals.
5. Reporting: Prepare and analyse aged payable/receivable reports, cash flow summaries, and
payroll costs for management review.
6. Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate with procurement, logistics & plant hire, project, and HR to
resolve accounting-related issues.
7. System Management: Oversee the use of accounting software and tools to optimize efficiency
and data integrity.
8. Compliance: Ensure adherence to tax regulations, labour laws, and company policies across all
supervised functions.
