Hong Ye Construction is seeking an experienced Site Foreman to supervise and coordinate construction activities on various projects, ranging from horizontal (e.g., roads, utilities) to vertical (e.g., buildings) construction. The Site Foreman will manage teams across different disciplines, ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality project completion on Saipan, Tinian, or Kwajelein.
Job Summary
Hong Ye Construction is seeking an experienced Site Foreman to supervise and coordinate construction activities on various projects, ranging from horizontal (e.g., roads, utilities) to vertical (e.g., buildings) construction. The Site Foreman will manage teams across different disciplines, ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality project completion on Saipan, Tinian, or Kwajelein.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise construction activities according to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Manage and lead teams of workers from various construction disciplines, including masons, carpenters, plumbers, and electricians.
- Ensure all safety precautions and quality standards are met, maintaining a safe and clean job site.
- Allocate tasks and responsibilities to workers, monitoring performance to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Train and mentor workers to enhance their skills and productivity, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Monitor project progress and report to project managers and engineers, providing updates on milestones and issues.
- Resolve on-site issues or conflicts promptly to maintain project timelines and worker morale.
- Ensure adequate resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, are available to meet project needs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and worker attendance for project documentation.
- Enforce compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven ability to manage and supervise teams across various construction disciplines, including horizontal and vertical projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to direct diverse teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to guide project execution.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction, including OSHA guidelines.
- Physical ability to perform site inspections and oversee work activities, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure to address project challenges.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in construction management are a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively, managing multiple crews and project phases simultaneously.
