STEELMAN ( REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE WORKER)
- Proven experience in structural steel erection, rigging, and connecting.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and structural drawings.
- Proficiency with tools such as spud wrenches, bolt guns, and welding equipment.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols for working at heights.
- Physical fitness and comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Relevant certifications, such as OSHA safety training or welding certifications, are a plus.
Qualification:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience required
- Must be knowledgeable in using power and hand tools and equipment
- Knowledge and understanding of blueprints, sketches, and plans relative to the work
Key Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work at heights and maintain balance on ladders and beams
- Physical strength to lift, carry, pull, or push up to 50-100 lbs
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions (rain, cold, heat)
- Detail-oriented mindset and ability to read building codes and specifications
- Experience with rigging, bolting/torquing, and crane signaling
