Qualifications:
- .Valid Level II certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) as per ASNT, ISO, or equivalent standards.
- Specialized training or certification in inspecting D Category and TKY welds is highly desirable.
- Additional certifications in other NDT methods (e.g., RT, MT, PT) are an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ultrasonic testing, including TKY and D Category nozzle joint configurations.
Job Descriptions:
- Perform ultrasonic inspections on welds, components, and structures to detect internal flaws, cracks, and other discontinuities.
- Conduct ultrasonic inspections on D-Category and TKY welds to detect internal defects, cracks, and other discontinuities.
- Analyze and interpret ultrasonic data specific to D Category and TKY welds, considering the unique challenges posed by these geometries.
- Set up, calibrate, and operate ultrasonic testing equipment, including thickness gauges, flaw detectors, and other related tools.
- Analyze and interpret ultrasonic data to assess the condition of materials and structures.
- Document and report inspection results according to industry standards and client requirements. 7. Ensure all equipment is compliant with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, including ultrasonic data, test results, and detailed reports.
- Prepare and submit inspection reports to management and clients as required.
