QUALIFICATIONS:
- Technical or vocational certificate/diploma in Carpentry, Joinery, or equivalent trade.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in carpentry or joinery, preferably within a fit-out or manufacturing environment.
- Must have work experience in wood carving, veneer decoration and use of wood turning lathe machine.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and finishes.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed technical drawings and shop drawings.

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in carpentry or joinery, preferably within a fit-out or manufacturing environment.
- Excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in the use of carpentry tools and woodworking machines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of modern joinery materials (MDF, veneer, laminate, solid wood, etc.) and hardware fittings.
- Familiarity with site installation practices and finishing standards.

?JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Carpentry and Joinery Work
- Fabricate, assemble, and finish wooden components such as doors, cabinets, skirting, panels, frames, partitions, furniture, and decorative items.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and cutting lists to produce items accurately.
- Measure, mark, cut, and shape wood and related materials using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
- Carry out fitting, fixing, and installation of carpentry and joinery items on-site as required.
- Repair, refurbish, or modify existing wooden structures and fittings.
2. Collaboration and Production Support
- Work closely with the Foreman- Assembly to coordinate production and installation activities.
- Ensure all materials and fittings comply with project specifications and quality standards.
- Follow instructions from the Foreman-Assembly regarding project priorities, finishes, and delivery timelines.
- Report material shortages, defects, or technical issues to the Foreman-Assembly.
3. Quality and Safety
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail throughout all stages of production and installation.
- Follow company safety policies and adhere to workshop and site safety protocols.
- Ensure tools and machinery are operated safely and maintained properly.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
4. Tools and Equipment
- Operate woodworking machinery such as panel saws, planers, routers, lipping machines, and drills.
- Use appropriate hand tools for measuring, assembling, and finishing.
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance of tools and equipment.
