- Graduate of BS in Secondary Education major in Social Studies.
- Minimum of 2 years experience K-12.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and debating skills.
- Female not more than 40 years old.
?JOB DESCRIPTION
- A Social Studies teacher develops and delivers curriculum on subjects like history, geography, economics, and civics, fostering critical thinking and civic responsibility in K-12 students.
- Key responsibilities include creating lesson plans, providing diverse instruction through lectures and activities, assessing student progress, managing the classroom environment, and communicating with parents to cultivate informed, engaged citizens.
- Analyzing needs, interests, strengths, and weaknesses of students, and developing lesson plans in accordance with these factors.
- Monitoring progress and discipline, and keeping parents and school counselors informed of learners who need extra support.
- Establishing classroom and debating rules, and ensuring all students obey these rules.
- Organizing field trips and ensuring permission slips are handed out and signed in a timely manner.
- Attending meetings, staff training, conferences, and other ongoing learning programs.
- Informing students of learning opportunities and preparing them for formal debates and other events.
