QUALITY ASSURANCE EXECUTIVE CUM MANAGEMENT REPRESENTATIVE
Qualification:
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in any filed.
- In-depth knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and standards such as ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems Standard
- Having knowledge of other ISO standards will be an added advantage.
Required Skills, Experience, Training
- Typically, 3-5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance, quality management, or related roles, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
- Experience serving as a management representative for quality management systems and interacting with regulatory agencies, certification bodies, or customer auditors.
- Proven experience in implementing and maintaining quality management systems in a regulated industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve quality performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate quality concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in conducting audits, root cause analyses, and quality improvement tools/ methodologies arising from quality incidents and complaints as required.
- Attention to detail and commitment to ensuring compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Quality Management Systems (QMS) Oversight:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s quality management system in accordance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements ( e.g; ISO 9001. ISO 45001).
- Establish quality objectives, policies, procedures, and documentation to support the QMS and promote a culture of quality excellence throughout the organization.
2. Compliance and Certification:
- Coordinate external audits and certification processes conducted by regulatory bodies, customers, or third-party certification bodies.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and contractual requirements, and facilitate the resolution of nonconformities or corrective actions as needed.
3. Quality Assurance Process:
- Monitor and evaluate key quality metrics, performance indicators, and process controls to assess the effectiveness of the QMS and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct internal audits and inspections to verify compliance with quality procedures, identify potential risks or deficiencies, and recommend corrective/ preventive actions.
- Participation in checking the quality of materials or equipment during deliveries.
- Participation in root cause analysis investigations arising from quality incidents and complaints as required.
- Participation in assessing the competencies of new and current employees.
4. Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
- Lead or support quality improvement projects, root cause analyses, and corrective action/ preventive action (CAPA) initiatives to address systemic issues and enhance organizational performance.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing to implement best practices, quality standards, and process improvements across departments.
5. Management Representation:
- Serve as the management representative for quality assurance matters, acting as liaison between senior management, internal, stakeholders, and external parties.
- Communicate the organization’s quality objectives, performance, and compliance status to stakeholders, and participate in management review meeting to discuss QMS effectiveness and improvement opportunities.
