JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Flexible in time and can travel in different site within Saudi Arabia
- Installs, testing, commissions and maintains low and medium voltage power distributions system
- Maintenance, repair and testing of medium voltage electrical distribution equipment such as transformer, cables, circuit breakers, relay protection systems, 13.8kV switchgear and SF6 ring main unit.
- Supports the installation, and upgrading of the electrical system
- Troubleshoots and repair electrical equipment such as motors, hanger doors drives, transformers, generators, PLCs and other controls equipment
- Provides expert advice, and technical assistance to support the staff
- Provides oversight of the operating / switching activities required to perform routine maintenance, repairs and system upgrades in all sites.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least Graduate of 2 years Vocational Course in Electrical Technology is required.
- Preferably with valid TESDA NC2 for Electrical Installation and Maintenance.
- Not more than 50 years old.
EXPERIENCE:
- Theoretical and practical knowledge for IDMT/DTOC protection, voltage and frequency relay, directional protection, distance/impedance protection and differential protection
- Skilled at producing and interpreting protective coordination studies (Fault Coordination)
- Capable of configuring various protective relays particularly from AEG over current relay, and Schneider Electric MICOM Series
- Capable of Electrical Testing, including but not limited to secondary current injection testing (with Omicron CMC 356), resistance testing, dielectric testing, Hi-pot testing, earth fault testing, grounding system testing and lux testing.
- Capable of protection relay testing for non-directional overcurrent, directional overcurrent, distance/impedance, differential and various generator protection relays such as frequency and reverse power protection relays.
- Proficient in computer and MS Office
- Capable use software for test equipment and protection relay
