JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Operation, maintenance and troubleshooting and repair of Fire Protection System including;
Diesel-driven pumps.
- Foam-Deluge fire suppression systems.
- Associated pipework, valves, pressure relief valves and jockey pumps.
- Operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of Aircraft Hydraulic Ring mains Systems including;
Bay Consoles.
- Flushing Manifolds.
- Hydraulic hoses and fittings.
- Vacuum pumps and other related equipment within the hydraulic system.
- Operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of Compressed Air / Vacuum and Steam Systems.
- The overhaul, operation, maintenance, and repair of;
- Standard electrically- driven motors.
- Internal combustion engines, (Petrol and Diesel).
- Air compressors.
- Pumps (vacuum, water, sewage and hydraulics).
- Operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of generators, lifting equipment, roads & floor sweepers and other equipment used on-site.
- Investigation of mechanical problems including identification of source of problems and determination of best method for repair by reading and interpretation of work contents and requirements obtained from information contained within the mechanical plans and diagrams.
- Planning and organization of workload.
- Care and maintenance of all specialized tools and equipments allocated either as long-term loan or personal issue.
- Adhering to ACGC / Client Tool Control Procedures, as and when required.
- Assisting in the execution of the training program among Saudi Trainees.
- Working with limited supervision;
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues.
- Performance of any other technical tasks as delegated by Mechanical Foreman or Supervisor.
- Authorized to execute tasks as delegated by the Mechanical Supervisor and/or the Site Superintendent.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of at least 2 years Technical or Technological Vocational Courses is required..
- Preferably with TESDA NC2 Certificate for Automotive Servicing.
- May need to posses a valid driver’s license.
- Not more than 50 years old.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 3-years working experience preferably in Operation & Maintenance of Power Plants, Manufacturing Plants or Water and Sewage Treatment Plants.
- Knowledge of Operation, repair, and preventive maintenance of electric motors, internal combustion engines, air compressors and pumps (vacuum, water, sewage and hydraulics); equipment and tools used in making all types of mechanical repairs; and mechanical safety practices.
