QC INSPECTOR
The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that plastic products manufactured by the company meet the required quality standards and specifications. Quality Inspector performs inspections, tests at various stages of the production process to identify defects, ensure compliance with quality guidelines, and maintain product integrity.
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of plastic products at different stages of the manufacturing process, including raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods.
• Verify that products meet specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements by performing tests, measurements, and functional checks using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Document inspection results, including non-conformities, deviations, and corrective actions, in accordance with established procedures.
• Inspect and evaluate incoming raw materials and components for quality, including proper labeling, documentation, and conformance to specifications.
• Monitor production processes and equipment to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control measures.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and rectify quality issues, provide guidance on quality standards, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Conduct root cause analysis and participate in problem-solving activities to address quality-related issues and implement preventive measures.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of quality control documents, inspection procedures, and work instructions.
• Communicate quality-related findings, recommendations, and trends to management and relevant stakeholders.
• Stay updated with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and advancements in quality control techniques for plastic product manufacturing.
Qualification
Education
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or any related discipline
or undergraduate of any Engineering courses for at least 4th year.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in quality control or related field is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Quality Inspector in a plastic products manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, inspection techniques, and statistical process control (SPC) methods.
• Familiarity with plastic manufacturing processes, materials, and related quality standards.
• Proficient in using measurement tools and equipment, such as calipers, gauges, micrometers, and optical comparators.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate findings effectively.
• Proficient in using computer software applications for data entry, analysis, and reporting.

Experience
Minimum of at least 3 years work experience as quality control inspector or any related quality control
positions.
Experience in machine shop or any related industry for aerospace and defense is a great advantage.
