Experience & Requisites
- Related Work Experience Minimum 5 years to 7 years.
- Engineering Degree or equivalent with (electronics – automation) focus Specific and practical experience on Automated Container Terminals (project management, integration)
- Familiar with MS Office.
- Computer Skills: Experienced in Drives, PLC, Office Applications, EAMS.
- With good verbal and written communication skills
Job Descriptions:
- Ensure Automated Equipment and associated systems availability is achieved as per the targeted KPIs.
- To ensure Electrified and Automated systems are helping reduce risks and ramping up productivity to competitive levels.
- Manage Automated Equipment functionality (calibration, test environments, interfacing, acceptance criteria, equipment functional descriptions, commissioning).
- This includes the following automation components: Quay side operation (position control, profile scanning, collision prevention, truck positioning) RTG operation Cranes, and RTGs CMS (position control, profile scanning, collision prevention, auto-steering, truck positioning).
- Perform routine diagnostic checks on automated systems, monitor automated systems, isolate problems, and ensure proper repair strategy is in place.
- Plan the spare parts to ensure maximum availability of the equipment, and follow up of parts requirements and requisitions for maintenance and workshop.
- Prepare timely management reports detailing equipment availability and usage, man-hours worked, and resource usage.
- Produce plans, drawings, and proposals for improvements to maintenance resources and maintenance methods.
- Continuously optimizes maintenance processes.
- Guides, coaches, and supports personnel under his management.
- Warranty follows up with crane suppliers.
- Monitors equipment performance and make improvements.
- Promote innovation by improving equipment performance and safety.
- Ensure that the maintenance team works in conformity with SGP Safety and Environment
- Policy, standards, and procedures provide input to incident reports and corrective actions.
Salary: SAR 5000 minimum per month
