Qualifications:
- · Perform carpentry/joinery work steps as per written work instruction and as per approved production order drawings/specifications – wooden joinery, interiors, kitchen cabinets, shelves, wardrobes, doors, windows frames, home, and office furniture items, cladding other related carpentry/joinery products and services of the company.·
- · Report to Foreman-Assembly Section for any shortage materials or if there is a need of special materials, tools to complete job orders.
- · Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches, jo orders to fully grasp the work requirements.
- · Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed.
- Cutting, shaping, and smoothing lumber and other materials according to approved drawing measurements/specifications.
- · Assemble window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items. When required, install work on site or work outside the factory.
- · Prepare mock-up samples when required as per instruction of Assembly Section Foreman.
- · Report to the Foreman-Assembly Section regarding work progress or status when inquired. Suggest improvement suggestion how to speed up work and improve quality.
- · Reading blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp requirements.
- · Taking measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed.
- · Repair and install doors, windows, walls, cabinets, stairwells, and other wooden furniture/fixtures.
- · Installing doors and windows, making furniture, designing, and fitting kitchens, and replacing roofs are among the duties that carpenters accomplish.
- · Perform other works that may be assigned by the Foreman-Assembly Section.
