SENIOR COMMISSIONING TECHNICIAN MECHANICAL
Job Description:
- Read and understand Mechanical schematic and equipment (Firefighting, Plumbing & HVAC) layout drawing.
- Used most of following testing instruments, Torque Wrench, Flowmeter, Tachometer, Vibration Meter, Sound Meter.
- Understand the terminology of Lock Out, Tag Out (L.O.T.O) and/or Isolation Point as well as Mechanical/Electrical Safety processes.
- Know how to conduct an Insulation Resistance Test, Continuity Test, 3 phase and single-phase Voltage Test, or Know how to conduct an Airflow/Waterflow Test, Speed Test (RMP), Noise Test.
- Know how to fault find/trouble shoot electrical circuitry (e.g., lighting circuits and controls) or Familiar with Mechanical testing, including but not limited to HVAC systems (Chillers, VRF, AHU, CRAC, Split, FANS), Plumping (sump pumps and domestic pumps), Firefighting (pumps, Fire hydrant and Fire hose cabinets).
- Advanced commissioning experience in testing and troubleshooting.
Optional: -
- Understand control equipment such as Fire Alam Systems or Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Ability to understand test record form and filling the records (under the T&C Engineer supervision).
Specific Work Areas:
Testing and Commissioning (T&C) site offices / work site locations, as required.
Ex-Bechtel preferred. Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience required. Must have good skills in speaking, writing,
and reading English. |
