GENERAL COMMISSIONING FOREMAN ELECTRICAL
Job Description:
- Provides technical support to Testing & Commissioning (T&C) in an area of specialty work which may include resolution of technical issues arising in the field and application of startup techniques.
- Read and understand single line, schematic, Power & Lighting layout, and Panel Schedule or Firefighting, Plumbing & HVAC layout.
- Used most of following testing instruments; Multifunction Tester, Voltmeter, Clamp Meter, Phase Rotation Meter, Lux/Light Meter, Torque Wrench.
- Understand the terminology of Lock Out, Tag Out (L.O.T.O) and/or Isolation Point as well as Mechanical/Electrical safety processes.
- Understand how to deal with energized rotary equipment.
- Coordinate multiple commissioning work crew.
- Support in Permit to Work.
- Chase up material, when needed, and provide tools to his team.
- Know how to fault find/trouble shoot electrical circuitry (e.g., lighting circuits and controls) or Familiar with Mechanical testing, including but not limited to HVAC systems (Chillers, VRF, AHU, CRAC, Split, FANS), Plumping (sump pumps and domestic pumps), Firefighting (pumps, Fire hydrant and Fire hose cabinets).
- Know how to conduct an Insulation Resistance Test, Continuity Test, 3 phase and single-phase Voltage Test, or Know how to conduct an Airflow/Waterflow Test, Speed Test (RMP), Noise Test.
- Be able to drive a team to complete systems and fully commissioning them.
- Ability to understand test record form and filling the records (under the T&C Engineer supervision).
Specific Work Areas:
Testing and Commissioning (T&C) site offices / work site locations, as required.
Ex-Bechtel preferred. Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience required. Must have good skills in speaking, writing,
and reading English.
